Alice Tuckett nee
Fox
Born in 1858. Alice was living in New Zealand when Francis Fox Tuckett proposed to her, and they were married in New Zealand in 1896. They returned to Frenchay and lived in the Old House on Frenchay Common. Alice immediately began to take part in local affairs and was an active supporter of the National School in Frenchay. She died in 1928 and was buried at the Friends Meeting House, Frenchay. |
