Sawyer Memorial Lecture
Sir George Oatley
Bristol's outstanding architect, who enhanced our Village Hall
With Dr. Sarah Wittingham
The Sawyer Memorial Lecture is being given by Dr. Sarah Whittingham of Bristol University. She has just published a book on the life of Sir George Oatley, and she will be talking about his life for us.  Oatley designed the extension to our village hall in the 1930s, as his daughter, Helen Fry, lived in Cedar Hall.  The Village Hall is celebrating its Centenary this year, and this is our way of marking the occasion
